Specialist in conventional

MVM primary works as a conventional pattern shop for the foundry industry. We chose to be a specialist in hand-made patterns. Especially when size and complexity are the key words, MVM is the address you come to. For manufacturing the patterns we use wood and different kinds of resin. When it comes to capacity, MVM is one of the large Patternshops and that makes it possible to meet with our costumers demands.If there is 3D drawing/milling involved with a project, MVM will be responsible for the design of the pattern and will put out the CAM process to the specialists.With this combination of conventional patternmaking, programming and buying the capacity of CAD/CAM techniques, MVM found the perfect balance between investing and serving our costumers.

In the last years with several costumers increased the need for buying complete machined castings, instead of managing the whole process and handle the risks themselves.Based on the experience and her market position, it was logic for MVM to take over these activities from their costumers. Process management, buying castings and machining became some of the services MVM could offer her costumers.After a short period the need for ‘process management’ was grown so far, that MVM decided to start a new company: MVM Engineering bv. How we work

Our work method is based on the regulations according to ISO9001:2000.

MVM works from the drawing delivered by the costumer. Together with the Foundry selected by the costumer or suggested by MVM, we come to a pattern layout that fits best in the current situation. There must be a balance between costs, quality and delivery terms to deliver a high quality casting with minimum costs.

Next to developing and manufacturing new patterns we also offer a full service for repair/adjusting and pattern storage.
